THE ROLE
The General Manager, Health Roundtable will lead strategy, growth, and member engagement for this critical network, ensuring members derive demonstrable value from their participation. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with Beamtree’s executive team, this role is responsible for:
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with member CEOs and the Health Roundtable Board;
- Delivering contractual obligations, including annual executive briefings and jurisdictional events;
- Driving revenue growth through increased subscriptions and cross‑program engagement;
- Representing Beamtree and the Health Roundtable at key forums and strengthening alliances;
- Leading, mentoring, and empowering a team to deliver superior member experiences.
This is a Sydney‑based role with regular domestic travel (and periodic trans‑Tasman travel).
THE CANDIDATE
You are an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience collaborating closely with CEOs, CXOs, boards, and senior clinicians in complex health environments. You bring gravitas, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence at the highest levels. Passionate about leveraging data and collaboration to transform care, you combine strategic vision with practical execution. Experience in member‑based organisations, healthcare benchmarking or analytics, or consultancy will be highly regarded.

Role Specification
The General Manager Health Roundtable is an integral part of Beamtree leading the growth of uptake of Health Roundtable products and services across ANZ and developing and maintaining strong member relationships focused on ongoing partnerships.
The General Manager Health Roundtable will develop and execute strategy ensuring a sustained profitable growth and superior member experience and nurture long-term relationships, through valuable data analytics and advisory.
- Ensure that Health Roundtable Board materials (membership and strategy updates and financial reports) are delivered on schedule and provide the necessary information for informed decision making.
- Ensure one half day executive briefing is delivered to each member entity each year.
- Ensure one event is held in every jurisdiction each year.
- Increase year on year subscription revenue by 20%.
Member Engagement
- Deliver executive member briefings with support from Head of Data Analytics
- Lead a team who are nurturing Health Roundtable relationships and retaining business, while also serving as a key contact point for strategic members.
- Ensure existing members achieve their goals by demonstrating value and ensuring a superior experience in ongoing support is provided.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships that ensure members are advocates for the brand.
Operational excellence
- Ensure all aspects of Health Roundtable contracts are fulfilled.
- Collaborate with internal functions across Beamtree to problem solve solutions as a team and engage and build rapport.
- Deliver high value solutions that are strategic or of financial benefit to Beamtree.
- Ensure purposeful interactions, prepared with deliberate intent, representing the member’s voice internally to ensure high level member experience.
- Work with the teams to align member expectations with deliverables from the production, data science and systems teams.
Leadership
- Lead, manage and mentor team members, providing clear and consistent communication of expectations.
- Manage the performance of direct reports by providing positive and constructive feedback, and as required, managing poor performance.
- Role model company values and mission.
- Provide support and guidance of best practices to team, including creating and delivering training as required.
- Identify and encourage opportunities for professional development within the team.
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies and best practices, and integrate relevant insights into training and development efforts and service delivery.

- A tertiary qualification in healthcare, business or related fields
- Experience within, and a strong understanding of, the ANZ healthcare sector
- Demonstrated experience developing business, consulting and selling to the healthcare industry
- Demonstrated strength in leadership role with strong growth focus to motivate and empower team members for success
- An understanding of and experience in selling technical/software, particularly into new markets
- Strong communication & stakeholder management, superior relationship building skills
- High level of commercial acumen
- Ability to operate both independently and in a team environment
- Experience collating and analysing data to inform sales pitches and information
- Must be able to travel as required

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that enhance organisational impact, including expanding program reach, improving member engagement, and optimising service delivery, ideally within complex or multi‑stakeholder environments.
- 5.Data‑driven insight and program delivery
- Strong appreciation for using data, benchmarking, and analytics to inform decision‑making and improve performance, with experience delivering value‑added programs or services to members or clients.
- 6.Communication and representation
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to represent Beamtree and the Health Roundtable at high‑level forums, industry events, and in strategic partnerships.
